HMPS is uniquely positioned with some of the most qualified and experienced pool of staff in the industry. It is guided by its mission to provide immigrant/refugee youths and families the opportunity to access professional, affordable and time limited therapeutic services to address trauma, life stage diffi culties, transitional/ adjustment mental health issues. HMPS recognize and respect each family’s cultural and ethnic diversity and the need for a specialized treatment approach. 

The Strengthening and Preserving Our Families in Transition (SPOFIT) Model is a central piece in serving youths and families.  It includes skills building, parenting, mentoring and psycho educational tools to empower support and strengthen families and communities.

HMPS Intensive Home Based and Therapeutic Day Services are provided in a culturally relevant manner to children and families from diverse background are in need of specialized mental health services. Clients are those who have been identified and assessed as being eligible for services. They have been determined to be in need of intense services and maybe at risk of being moved from their primary residence to an out-of-home placement due to documented emotional difficulties.

Cancer Counseling Services and Support for Women and Family - HMPS offers client support, encouragement, education, empowerment and community based referrals/resources to those in need of services.  this include family, friends and others in the client support net work. The goal is to reduce stress, overcome fear and strive for balance, recovery, wellness and resilience.
